The Ford Galaxy Journey
Designed in collaboration with Volkswagen, the Ford Galaxy launched in 1995 alongside the Volkswagen Sharan and SEAT Alhambra. The model was popular from the onset with its vast selection of engines and configurable 7 seat layout – this was a less sophisticated system than those found in the newer models with seats that had to be removed completely to make use of the space. The second and third-generation Galaxy’s launched in 2006 and 2015 respectively, these models sit on the Mondeo platform and feature Ford’s fantastic Fold-Flat seating system alongside a whole host of technology to keep you and your family entertained.

What do I need to look for on a used Ford Galaxy?
Front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, 8 speaker audio system and Ford’s Fold-Flat seating system all feature as standard on the Galaxy. The Titanium and Titanium X models bolster this further with keyless entry, leather trim, heated seats, satellite navigation, electric-powered tailgate, rear-view camera and a stunning electric panoramic glass sunroof. Choose a 2017 model onwards and you’ll get Ford’s SYNC 3 interface supporting both Apple CarPlay & Android Auto smartphone mirroring.
Because the Galaxy is generously equipped as standard, there are not many options available.
