As the UK's original all makes car supermarket, we still maintain the friendly, family business approach that has served us well for over fifty years. We do things differently here at Fords of Winsford; openly and honestly.
The company was started in 1959 by Vernon Ford in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, working from home. His aim was to sell great cars at prices considerably below main dealers, in a pressure-free environment. Our aim remains the same to this day.
All our staff are here to help, not to hinder. You won't find the hard-sell approach and you're free to browse our entire stock of over 1,110 vehicles, all on one supersite. You can take as may keys for as many cars as you like, get in, try them out, even start up the engine and imagine yourself driving away!
Once you've chosen a car (or two) simply pop back to the reception desk to arrange a test drive.
There's no limit to the number of cars you can try out and our sales staff are on hand to help out only when you want. If you want to part exchange your current vehicle, we can offer you a valuation. We can even sort out paying off any outstanding finance on it, if you want to exchange it against any of our stock!
If you need finance to help acquire your next car, all our sales staff are FSA trained and are qualified to advise you on any aspect of your purchase. Unlike many dealers or large sites, we have access to a wide range of finance providers, so you can be sure that the best deal is put together for you.
With over 1,100 cars on our massive 14 acre site, there's plenty for everyone. If you're just browsing, you can always take "time out" at our onsite cafe, where a variety of hot and cold snacks and drinks are served. There's even a play area to keep the kids amused while mum and dad check out their next car!
P.S. don't forget to bring your DRIVING LICENCE (which must match your home address), if you want to test drive a vehicle!
It is with regret that, due to government age and height restrictions for restrained safety, we are unable to allow ANY CHILD less than 12 years old and under the height of 135cms in the vehicle during the test drive. Please call for further details.
